The treasure of Szekszárd. It has belonged to us for a long time, to the people of Szekszárd. We like to believe that Szekszárd has made the true home for the wine.
It has a distinctly brighter colour, the sip seems lighter than of other red wines, however, do not be fooled by it. It has probably the most complex structure out of all the wines of the country; a secret quality that can be unrevealed if one ages it for many years and discovers the Kadarka’s outstanding ability of prolonged aging. If we blend it with other varieties, a special attention must be paid to its dominant features. 
We believe that a good kadarka needs shrivelled grapes with 10% botrytis, with their taste and fragrance giving the unmatchable savour of the traditional kadarka from Szekszárd. 
We feel that we our lucky to have a small piece of our grandfathers’ Szekszárd in the form of a 100-year old kadarka-vineyard at Kerékhegy.
It is the perfect every day companion.

Consumption: we recommend it with camembert and brie cheese. It is also the perfect companion to the famous Fisherman’s Soup from Szeged and Baja, however, it is favoured by the entire Hungarian and Italian cuisine.
