The Figula Family Winery was founded in 1993, although the family tradition goes back to the 19th century, when great-grandfather István Tolnay was one of the most respected winemakers of the Balaton region.
The region itself has 2000 years of winemaking history, evidenced by a locally discovered Roman tankard with the inscription "Da bibere - Give me to drink".
Every facet of our winemaking is led and overseen by the family, allowing us to make the very most of this spectacular region's various attributes, which we concentrate into white wines of the highest standard and character.
