The production site that towers towards Tokaj. Amazing complexity, minerality, content lies beneath the surface, but that would not make the wines made from here unique.What is not elsewhere, however, is nothing but overwhelming elegance. Countless layers unfold during the tasting, which step by step amplifies the soft music of the vineyard in the glass and opens continuously for long, long minutes…The first vintage, when plantations of different ages at the time know together what St. Thomas means 2017/1961. Complexity mixed with light elegance can give an amazing balance.
Tasting notes: Lively, vibrant, long, complex wine. Fruit bomb explodes in the mouth. Intense aromas of citrus, stone and peach explode in the glass, followed by a juicy palate with refined acidity and considerable oak in the background. Creamy, smooth and perfectly round, this is a well-balanced vintage for true wine lovers and connoisseurs.
The suggested drinking temperature is between 10-12 °C. The wine wonderfully accompanies with white fish dishes, seafood or pasta dishes but it is also very drinkable just on its own to discover Tokaj.
