Köves got its name from the fact that a rocky ledge was created under the layer of rain-carrying soil. The grape has had a very difficult journey in order to obtain aquifers and nutrients, which is why it has a very difficult start in development. These areas were characterized by small clusters and minimal capital load (maximum 30-40 dkg). The concentration of small clusters and small berries gave birth to a very complex, mineral wine, which has decades of maturation potential and an incredible length of taste.
